Wednesday, March 31st, 2021, will mark the 12th annual International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV). This event celebrates the resilience and success of transgender and gender nonconforming people and raises awareness of transgender rights. TDoV was founded by activist Rachel Crandall in 2009.
Jackie Thornhill, a transgender woman and political organizer & public servant and her mother, Bridget Sampson, founder of Sampson Coaching & Consulting and Professor Emeritus, are proud to share the top 3 things you need to know about transgender people today.
Jackie and Bridget founded Transgender School in 2020 with the vision of saving lives, keeping families together, and making work, school, and all spaces safe for transgender people through education and advocacy.
Transgender Support: Becoming a True Ally was created by Bridget and her transgender daughter Jackie, founders of transgenderschool.org, who share their four-year journey of pain, growth, and healing to help others learn from their experience.
